2014: Kooperation mit ESC Pau (Grande École in Frankreich) mit Certified Financial Modeler Stipendienvergabe

The Groupe ESC PAU and the German Institute of Corporate Finance have entered a co-operation in Corporate Finance. The agreement foresees a co-operation in a number of financial fields, including Corporate Finance, Portfolio Management and Derivatives. It especially provides for collaboration on financial modeling which is applied in all these fields of finance.

Groupe ESC PAU will select two students with outstanding performance. The Groupe ESC PAU Excel based courses such as “corporate valuation” help the students to be well prepared for financial modeling. After the 6 month financial modeling program the students will take the Certified Financial Modeler exam. In the end the students will be awarded the prestigious degree „Certified Financial Modeler“ by the German Institute of Corporate Finance.

 “The Joint Declaration ESC PAU and the German Institute of Corporate Finance will facilitate wider international co-operation on fundamentally important scientific and business practice orientated financial modeling issues” said German Institute of Corporate Finance director Joachim Häcker (see picture attached).

The Groups ESC Pau is a leading business school in France. “There are currently approximately 200 Business Schools in France with more than 100,000 students enrolled outside of the mainstream University system. Roughly 40% of these institutions are both State-recognised and provide qualifications accredited by the Ministry of Education.
